The best way to look after for your coffee machine A coffee machine needs maintenance – but that is true of all kitchen appliances and every other way of making coffee. With NIVONA, the brewing unit is removable for maintenance. Why exactly? On the one hand, we want to be as transparent as possible; when it comes to maintenance, we have nothing to hide. On the other hand, this is the easiest way to facilitate maintenance of the brewing unit.
Clean the brewing unit regularly, at least once a month. Simply remove it, wash it in cold water, leave it to dry, and put it back in.
But there is obviously a bit more involved with looking after a machine: with our original maintenance range, you can descale and ensure perfect cleaning of your NIVONA and the milk system. Also, with our CLARIS fresh water filter, your NIVONA will need descaling less often. (Your NIVONA will automatically remind you.) In addition, we have adapted the maintenance processes, so that your NIVONA does a large part of the descaling and cleaning for itself. Indeed, our claim of convenience and simplicity also applies when it comes to looking after your NIVONA.
